METHUEN, MA AND DERRY, NH: Alfred J. Sciuto, Jr., 58, of Derry, N.H., passed on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, after a lengthy illness. He was born July 24, 1956, in Methuen, Mass., and was a son of Alfred, Sr. and Jean (Morrison) Sciuto. He was raised and educated in Methuen and had been a resident of Derry for the past 22 years. Mr. Sciuto was employed as a train engineer and self- employed as a sign painter and truck letterer. He was an avid train enthusiast and enjoyed traveling to railroad stations throughout the Northeast. He was also a talented artist who loved to sketch and draw, producing many pictures of trains, stations and trucks.
Members of the family include his father of Derry; a brother, James Sciuto of Rye, N.H.; and his sister, Theresa Sciuto, of Dunbarton, N.H. He was predeceased by his mother, Jean Sciuto in 2011.
