PALM BAY, FL: Antoinette M. Staples, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was born on August 8, 1928 in East Boston, to Celestina Colorusso and Michael Matarozzo. Mrs. Staples made her home in Brownfield, Maine and Derry, N.H., before moving to Florida 16 years ago. She was predeceased by her husbands, Kenneth Staples, 2008 and Stanley Morin 1968, her parents and brothers and sisters.
She worked as a pharmacy clerk at the family drug store in Derry for many years, and after her retirement she worked part-time packing apples at Sunny Crest Farms in Londonderry, N.H.
She is survived by two daughters, Anne Marie, of Palm Bay, Fla., Bella Kirrane of Chestnut Hill; a stepdaughter, Wanda Dumas of St. Lazare, QC; one son, Michael Morin of Concord, N.H.; brothers, James Matarozzo of Callbran, Colo., Ralph Matarozzo of Barton, Vt. and Joseph Matarozzo of Derry, N.H.; sisters, Lillian Kennedy of Palm Bay, Fla. Rita Raiche of Derry, N.H., Sylvia Costello of Mill Valley, Calif. and Kathleen Leaman of Ocoee, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, N.H. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the hospice of your choice.
