Charles T.'s Story
Charlie (Chuck) Robinton was the son of Alex Robinton and Miriam (Wainwright) Robinton. Born in Springfield, he lived in Lawrence in his early years. He graduated from Johnson High in No. Andover and Franklin Technical Institute in Boston. He worked for the Telephone Co. for 35 years. He was an Army Reservist and had many hobbies including photography, ham radio, woodworking, auto repair, and a lifelong passion for and involvement in flying. He held many commercial pilot ratings. He enjoyed wintering in Florida with his wife, Carmon (Jordan) Robinton for many years. His other family members include his son, James and his wife, Beth Robinton of Laconia; daughters, Brenda Robinton of Goffstown and Lisa Robinton of Andover; brother, John and his wife, Carol Robinton of Pinelas Park, Fla.; sisters, Helen and husband, Richard Wright of Haverhill, Beverly and her husband, Richard Gavette of Hampton; grandchildren, Mark and his wife, Meg Robinton of Minnesota, Sheri Robinton of Colorado; two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Cooper Robinton of Minnesota.
