Londonderry, NH - Cindy A. Violi-Vytal, 62, of Londonderry, NH, lost her hard-fought battle with cancer on Friday, May 10th, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
She was born on October 25, 1956 in New Haven, Conn., where she lived until she was 17. Her family moved to Altoona, PA and shortly after, Cindy graduated from Altoona Area High School. Cindy and her family then moved to Florida for a few years, before settling in New Hampshire.
Cindy worked for computer associates and profit key for many years. In recent years, she worked for Macy's and HomeGoods.
Cindy married the love of her life and best friend, Barry Vytal on July 23, 1988. She was a devoted mother and wife. Cindy loved life and always made the most of time spent with her family.
Cindy loved spending time at Rye beach, whether she was sitting on the beach with a good book or taking walks with her mother. She also loved to cook and was an absolutely amazing one.
She was selfless, caring, funny, and the most beautiful person, both on the inside and out. Cindy had an amazingly positive "never give up" attitude, which allowed her to push forward and fight this terrible disease. She was taken far too soon, and she will be missed tremendously. We, her family are grateful that she is no longer suffering and know that she is now in a better place. Please know that your thoughts and prayers are appreciated during this very difficult time.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of almost 31 years, Barry Vytal of Londonderry, NH; her children, Brittany A. Vytal of Watertown, MA and Matthew J. Vytal of Litchfield, NH; her mother, Suzanne E. Violi; and her siblings, Robert A. Violi and his wife Mary of Pickerington, OH, Jill Violi of Londonderry, NH, and Christopher D. Violi of Windham, NH; and her niece, Amanda Weinstein of Londonderry.
She was predeceased by her father, Dominick J. Violi.
Calling hours will take place on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.
