LONDONDERRY, NH: Daniel C. “Danny” Sacchetti, 70, of Londonderry, N.H., passed away Friday, May 1, 2015, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, N.H., surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 10, 1945, in Boston, Mass., a son of the late Frank and Theresa (Costa) Sacchetti. Danny served in the Army National Guard. He worked for many years as a Mason as a member of the Local #32 in Newton, Mass., then branching out on his own. Following his retirement, Danny owned and operated the Frosty Ice Cream Trucks for more than 20 years. He loved working with his son. He was an avid X-box player using the screen name "FrostyWarBaby." He enjoyed trips to Foxwoods with his girls and brother and loved trains, planes and automobiles. Danny also loved all the family dogs – Athena, Diggy Smalls, Fenway, Chief Brody and Hootie. He will be sorely missed by his loyal ice cream customers and remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Maureen A. (Brasco) Sacchetti of Londonderry; one son, Danny Sacchetti and his wife, Gina of Derry; one daughter, Angela Sacchetti of Londonderry; five grandchildren, Brett and his wife, Rachel, Bailey, Timmy, Sabrina, and Daniel; two great-grandchildren, Symphony and Jazz; one brother, Frank Sacchetti and his wife, Diane; one sister, Frances Kervin and her husband, Timmy; as well as many extended family members.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Londonderry Fire Department, 280 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH 03053.
