LONDONDERRY, NH: Dawn L. Slichko, 62, of Londonderry, N.H., passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, N.H., surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 25, 1952, in Albany, N.Y., a daughter of Marilyn (Demarest) and the late Elmer DePasquale. Dawn was a graduate of St. Anne Institute in Albany, N.Y. In her younger years, she worked as a secretary for the Boys Club in Troy, N.Y., and later worked for various retail stores. She loved to socialize with her friends and get together to play cards. Dawn will be remembered as a wonderful friend, wife, mother, daughter and sister. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Faith.
In addition to her mother of Deland, Fla., Dawn is also survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce W. Slichko of Londonderry; one daughter, Stacy Slichko Aresco of Londonderry; one son, Eric Slichko of Bedford, N.H.; one granddaughter, Faith Aresco of Londonderry; three brothers, Mark DePasquale and his wife, Angela of Loudonville, N.Y., David DePasquale and his wife, Donna of Watervliet, N.Y., and William DePasquale and his wife, Debbie of Paisley, Fla.; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Jim DePasquale, formerly of Lakeworth, Fla.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were at 5 p.m. in the funeral home.
