LONDONDERRY, NH: Doris E. Joyce, 88, of Londonderry, N.H., passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H., after a brief illness. She was born on March 28, 1927 in Mt. Vernon, N.H., a daughter of the late Charles Elmer and Elvira (Stockwell) White. Mrs. Joyce worked for Mack’s Apples in Londonderry in the packing department for over 25 years. She will be remembered as a devoted grandmother who gave her time to help care for both of her grandchildren until they were old enough to go to school.
She is survived by one son, Richard A. Joyce Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Londonderry; two grandchildren, Allen Joyce of Londonderry and Katelyn Robinson and her husband, George of Keene, N.H.; one sister, Gloria O’Leary of Haverhill, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Joyce Sr. in 2002, as well as four brothers and two sisters.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in Londonderry United Methodist Church, corner of Pillsbury and Mammoth Road, Londonderry. She will be buried with her husband Richard in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
