BOILING SPRINGS, SC: Flora (Flo) W. Moulton, 90, of Boiling Springs, S.C., formerly of Melrose, Mass., and Davie, Fla., passed away on March 6, 2016, at the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Mass., with family and friends at her side.
Flo was born in Chelsea, Mass., on November 14, 1925. Flo was married to Harold J. Moulton on March 29, 1947. They were married 33 years with Harold’s passing in 1980.
Flo worked as a secretary for many years at Fred S James in Boston, Mass., before retiring and moving to Florida. She enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and daughters-in-law. No matter where Flo was living, she never missed the birth of one of her grandchildren or great-grandchildren. She enjoyed many summers and the time spent with her sister Gwen at York Beach, Maine.
Flo is survived by three children and their spouses, Paul Moulton of Londonderry, N.H., Harold Moulton Jr of Boiling Springs, S.C., and Bruce Moulton of Lowell, Mass.; six grandchildren, Jason Moulton of Londonderry, N.H., David Moulton of Auburn, N.H., Brett Moulton of Fort Mill, S.C., Jessica Coen of Londonderry, N.H., Victoria Todor of Greer, S.C., and Eric Moulton of Providence, R.I.; eight great-grandchildren, Jillyan, Miles, Bella, Maya, Jack, Aurora, Ellie, Hazel, and one on the way; her sister, Gwen Evans of Sandwich, Mass., Winifred Elms of Harbour Grace, Newfoundland; nieces and nephews and their family and friends.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., on April 4, 2016, at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Peabody, Mass. The Rev. Stacey Gould Lanier of First United Methodist Church officiated.
