Frank Clark's Story
Frank C. Obrey, 74, of Chester, N.H., died Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, N.H. Frank was born in Portsmouth, N.H. on October 21, 1941, a son of the late John G. and June (Clark) Obrey. He was a graduate of Amesbury High School, Class of 1959 and later served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Frank and his wife Cathie founded Obrey Insurance Agency in Derry, which later moved to Londonderry.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine S. (Napier) Obrey of Chester, two sons, John Obrey and his wife, Deanna of Derry, and Derek Obrey and his wife, Miranda of Barre, Vt.; six grandchildren, Joscelyn, Tucker, Gabriel, Emma, Dylan and Logan. Frank also leaves one brother, John Obrey of Salt Lake City, Utah, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lynn Obrey-Davis in 2013.
Following cremation, private burial with Coast Guard honors will be held in the N.H. State Veteran's Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
