HUDSON, NH: Howard E. Clark, 82, of Hudson, N.H., died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, N.H. Mr. Clark was born on September 25, 1933 in Cambridge, Mass., a son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Manning) Clark. He was a resident of Hudson for four years, formerly living in Derry for over 50 years and Sandown prior. Mr. Clark proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a truck driver for many years, retiring from Valerie Transportation. While working as a truck driver, he was a member of the Teamsters Local 633. Howard was a lifetime member of the Halcyon Club in Derry and was an avid hockey fan.
He is survived by one son, Daniel W. Clark and wife, Joan of Londonderry; two daughters, Patricia Cummings and Kathy Clark, both of Manchester; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy J. (Campbell) Clark in 1993, and by one son, David Clark in 2008.
Calling hours were held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Private graveside services were held at the convenience of the family in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
