CHESTER, NH: Joseph F. O'Brien, 57, of Chester, N.H., died Thursday September 3, 2015, in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on August 31, 1958, son of the late Joseph J. O’Brien and the late Florence C. (Haynes) O'Brien. He had been a resident of Chester for the past 32 years, formerly living in Farmingville, Long Island, N.Y. Joseph received his bachelors degree in accounting from Boston University in 1982, and became a Certified Public Accountant in April 1993. He was an independent business owner in Derry and Exeter specializing in personal and business tax services, auditing and forensic accounting. He was Owner and President of Chestnut Tax and Business Services and Joseph F. O’Brien P.C. C.P.A of Derry, N.H. Joseph was also an active member of the Derry and Exeter Rotary Clubs.

He is survived by his Aunt, Marion Jane A. O’Brien of Saint Petersburg, Fla.; his sister, Brianne F. O'Brien-Bellapianta of Coram, N.Y.; his brother, Patrick M. O'Brien of New Albany, Ohio; his brother-in-law, Frank J. Bellapianta; his sister-in-law, Kim M. O'Brien; as well as his nieces and nephews, Nicholas H. Bellapianta, Daniel C. Bellapianta, Shaelyn E. O’Brien, Ainsley N. O’Brien, and Quinn M. O'Brien.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, N.H. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 14, at 11 a.m. in St. John's Cemetery, Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village, N.Y.
