MANCHESTER, NH: Lawrence W. Lemire, 75, died in Manchester, on October 21, after a period of illness. Born in Derry, the youngest of five children of Gertrude (Payne) and Theodore Lemire, he attended Derry public schools and Pinkerton Academy. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing as a young man, he was an enthusiastic vegetable gardener and stamp collector later in life. The pride and joy of his late teens was a tri-colored Plymouth sedan with pushbutton drive in which he made a fondly recalled trip over the border to Sherbrooke, the hometown of his father’s family, and on to Montreal. Larry resided and worked most of his life in New Hampshire, a life that included a short marriage to woman in Manchester named Rose. RIP.
