DERRY, NH : Marguerite “Marge” (Thibault) Bisson, 80, of Derry, N.H. died Saturday, October 4, 2014, peacefully, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Marge was the wife of the late Wilfred E. Bisson. She was the daughter of Mary (Flynn) and Austin Thibault. She was born in Torrington, Conn. on June 1, 1934 and graduated from Torrington High School in 1952 and St. Francis School of Nursing in 1956. She started her career in the Post Polio Ward and retired from Mt. Carmel Nursing Home in Manchester, N.H. She was an avid fan of all N.E. sports teams, especially the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed quilting and cake decorating. Marge enjoyed her time with her six children and six grandsons. She was predeceased by her loving husband and her daughter, Nancy Lee Bisson.
Marge is survived by four sons, Thomas Bisson and his wife, Pamala of Londonderry, N.H., William Bisson of Wilmington, N.C., Joseph Bisson of Pasadena, Md., and Gregory Bisson of Wilmington, N.C.; one daughter, Patricia Guimond of Merrimack, N.H., also the proud grandmother of her six grandsons; also two brothers and their wives, George and Edith Thibault of Litchfield, Conn., and James and Patricia Thibault of Edgewater, Fla.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
