JONESBOROUGH, TN: Marie Teresa Chouinard Marcotte, 77, Jonesborough, Tenn., passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Roxbury, Mass., and the daughter of the late Adelard Joseph and Marie Edna St. Laurent Chouinard. Marie attended seminary at Deliverance Tabernacle in Boston, Mass., and Internation Seminary in Plymouth, Fla. She worked for five years at the VA Hospital in New Hampshire, Elliott Hospital in Manchester, N.H., for 11 years, home health in Johnson City, Tenn., and also with the Dawn of Hope. Marie attended Trinity Assembly of God in Johnson City. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years, Gene Marcotte; sons, Michael Marcotte and wife, Tina, Joseph Marcotte and wife, Anne, and Leo Marcotte; sisters, Betty Harnisch and Janet Palmer; grandchildren, Jessica Honeycutt and husband, David, and Joseph Marcotte; great-grandchildren, Cayden and Dakota Honeycutt; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Trinity Assembly of God Building Fund, 617 University Pkwy, Johnson City, TN 37604. The family requests the honor of your presence for a Celebration of Life Service for Marie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Trinity Assembly of God, Johnson City with Pastor Edward Jefferies officiating.
