Fremont, NH — Mary L. “Molly” Massicotte, 86, died suddenly July 31, 2014 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1927, in Armagh, Northern Ireland, the daughter of John Leslie and Vera Villiers. She lived with her grandparents Tom and Mary Villiers.
She emigrated to America after World War II, coming to live with her mother in Billerica, Mass.
She married Maurice Massicotte in Sept. 1950 and became a homemaker and mother. The family settled in Londonderry, N.H.
Molly took up bowling and golf while enjoying reading, movies and visiting people.
Later, she worked at Linley Marketing and Research.
Surviving family members include her two sons, Philip E. Massicotte and his wife, Cheryl of Nottingham, N.H. and Dr. Stephen J. Massicotte and Dr. Holly Hendrickson of Indiana; five grandchildren, Patrick, Brianna, Leslie, Elise and Julia and her sister, Connie Villiers of New Jersey.
Molly was predeceased by her brother, Jack Leslie.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., with her memorial service at 4:30 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
