Norman P.'s Story
Norman (Norm) Landers, 82, of Lake Mary, Fla., died June 23, 2017, at Oakmonte Village Assisted Living Facility where he lived. Norm was born in Berlin, N.H., on April 30, 1935, to the late Leo and Beatrice (Provencher) Landers. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Maryann.
Norm was a devoted family man. He had a listening ear, a gentle sense of humor and an impeccable presence. After serving four years in the Army and National Guard, he settled in Derry, N.H., where he and Maryann raised their family. In 2006, they retired to Florida.
Norm is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Grabowski of Sanford Fla., and Deborah (William) Ross of Manchester, N.H.; two sisters, Beverly (Bill) Pailthorpe, Rosina Turmel, (widow of Bob Turmel); and two brothers, Peter (Mona) Landers, Robert (Chris) Landers. Additionally, there are four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
On Tuesday, July 25, at 10:30 a.m. there will be a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry, N.H. Graveside burial follows at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry, N.H.
