Paul W.'s Story
Paul W. Libby, 52, of Derry, N.H., died Friday, June 9, 2017, in his home.
He was born in Lynn, Mass., on September 6, 1964, a son of William and Veronica (Kelly) Libby. He had been a resident of Derry for the past 12 years, formerly living in Peabody, Mass., and Beverly, Mass., where he was raised. Paul was educated in the Beverly School system and graduated from Beverly High School. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. Paul was an avid gamer, be it board games or computer games, and enjoyed writing, loved music, nature, bird watching, and cats. In addition to his parents of Rochester, N.H., he is survived by two brothers, Michael Libby and his sons, Camden and Tyler of Danvers, Mass., and Sean Libby of Rochester; his sister, Michelle MacCuish and her husband, Edward, and daughter, Sophie of Stoneham, Mass.
Following cremation, a calling hour will be held on Saturday, June 24, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the First Parish United Church of Christ, 176 West High Street, Somersworth, NH 03878, with a memorial service to begin at 11 a.m. Private burial will be in the Gray Village Cemetery in Gray, Maine, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
