DERRY, NH: Therese E. "Tess" (Latendresse) Taylor, age 98, a resident of Derry for the past 27 years, formerly of Nashua, N.H. and South Windsor, Conn., died March 2, 2016 at Methuen Village. She was the widow of Charles E. Taylor, who died in 1987.

She was born in Lowell on Jan. 25, 1918, daughter of the late Alfred & Rose (Champagne) Latendresse.

She was a devoted mother, an avid reader, and enjoyed walking.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Charlene Hugener of Atkinson, N.H., and Louise and John Edelblute of Derry, N.H.; six grandchildren, Charles, Edward and Richard Hugener, Jane Fox, Sally Holmund and Beth Edelblute; six great-grandchildren; and two nephews. She was mother-in-law of the late William Hugener; and she was predeceased by several siblings.

According to her wishes, there will be no visitation. Relatives and friends were invited to her committal service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford.
