Cape Coral - Barbara Jean (Joyce) Allen, 79, away on February 2, 2021 in Cape Coral, Fla. Barbara was born in Portland, Maine on June 13, 1941 to Timothy and Dora Joyce. In 1960, she married the love of her life, Robert Allen.

Over the years, Barbara and Bob made their homes in Westbrook, Maine, Londonderry, N.H., and eventually in Cape Coral, Fla. Barbara worked in the real estate industry and was an office manager for 30 years. She had many friends and was always full of stories.

She leaves behind her husband of a little more than 60 years, Bob, four children, Diane Best and husband Greg, Jennifer Ivancic and husband Peter, Stacey Allen and wife Laura; and Stephen Allen and wife Jill, as well as eight grandchildren, Marissa, Brianna, Kelsey, Haley, Jack, Ryan, Reece and Carson. Her remaining siblings are Philip Joyce and his wife Barbara, Tim Joyce and his wife, Gloria, Mary O'Bradovich, and Kathleen Veroneau. Also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Simone Allen, Vincent Allen, Jan and Faye Allen, Kathy and John Bruni, Maureen Callahan, and Donna and Dennis Pyper. She was predeceased by her brother Robert and her parents.
