Bertha P. (Wiggins) Holm, 90, of Derry, N.H., died Friday May 5, 2017 in Aurora Senior Living in Derry.

She was born in Derry on February 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Guy and Mildred (Brewster) Wiggins, and had been a lifelong resident. Bertha was graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1944. She enjoyed knitting, especially for newborns, and was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Holm of Derry, and William Holm and his wife, Catherine of Derry; five grandchildren, Heather Bell and her husband, Brian, Sarah Roy and her husband, Jeremy, Daniel Holm, Taylor Holm, and Angelique Holm; 11 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Makayla, Jagger, Madison, Isabella, Annaleise, Kayleigh, Payton, Kendall, Kenley, and Leah; as well as her special friend, Claire Plocharczyk of Derry; she was predeceased by her husband, Russell N. Holm in 2013, and two sons, Steven Holm and Richard Holm.

Calling hours were held on Tuesday, May 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
