Chester - Betzabe "Betze" Thresa Berk, 27, of Chester, NH passed away from injuries suffered in a car crash on December 30, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Taken from us much too soon, Betze will be remembered for her bright smile and her enthusiasm for helping others.

Betze was born in Guatemala City on September 20, 1997. She was adopted at age 5 by Martin and Kathleen Berk, then of Salem, NH. At the age of 9, Betze moved with her parents and sister, Ana to Windham, NH and graduated from Windham High in 2016. She then earned an associate's degree from Manchester Community College.

Betze had a compassionate love for animals and worked at a dog day care and boarding facility in Londonderry, NH. Later, her passion for helping others led her to Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH, where she was a paraeducator. She was loved by both teachers and students, for whom she always had a captivating smile and a disarming sense of humor.

Betze is survived by her mother, Kathleen Berk, her father, Martin Berk, sister Ana Berk, grandmother, Bernice Berk, uncles Robert Berk and Michael Alianiello, aunt and uncle, Nancy and Alan Kaufman, as well as many cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at the Westbrook Inn in Derry, NH on Sunday February 9 from 1 to 4 p.m.
