Litchfield - Litchfield - Brian Landry of Litchfield, NH, formerly of Salem, NH, born May 15, 1978, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. He faced each day with grace, strength, and humility, leaving an example of courage that touched everyone around him. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Courtney Landry, and their admired sons, Tyson and Jake.
Brian is also survived by his parents, Paul and Catherine Landry; his brother, Michael Landry, and his wife; his sister, Krislyn Carroll, and her husband; his loved nieces and nephews; his aunts, uncles and cousins, his parents-in-law, Steven and Gail Martin; his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.
Brian dedicated over 23 years of service as a police officer with the Derry Police Department. He is remembered by his fellow officers as a respected mentor and dedicated police officer, who was passionate about his work and devoted to his family. While he valued connecting with the community when on patrol, he found his greatest fulfillment as a school resource officer at Hood and West Running Brook Middle Schools and Pinkerton Academy. He is fondly remembered by students for his welcoming presence in the lunchroom and hallways, his guidance and encouragement, his enthusiasm for playing ping-pong and volleyball, his volunteer work as a coach for the unified basketball team, and his overall positive influence on the school community.
Brian was a deeply protective and devoted husband and father. He will always be remembered for the joy he found in watching his sons play sports and for the precious time he shared with his family. Together, they cherished watching professional sports, fishing, golfing, making memories at their lake house, testing each other's trivia knowledge, and searching for treasures in collectible keepsakes. Brian was always ready for a little healthy competition with his sons. Brian's love for his family, and presence in the lives of those around him will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Though his family is deeply saddened by his passing, they take solace in the hope of being reunited with him in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, Brian requested that donations be made in his memory to the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Cancer and Charitable Foundation, Inc (Venmo or PayPal @NHLECCF https://nhleccf.com/), one of the many organizations who supported his family throughout his battle. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all who have offered love, strength, and support throughout this journey and continue to do so.
