Helen J. Adams, 85, of Derry, N.H., died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 in the Warde Health Center in Windham, N.H.

She was born in Worcester, Mass., on Aug. 15, 1925, to the Rev. August and Adele (MacKay) Holm. Helen taught Literature on the college level for 38 years following degrees from Wheaton College (Ill.) and Columbia University, New York.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Warren E. Adams of Derry; and daughters, Beth Bruner of Derry, and Carol Malouin of Nashua. The family also includes grandchildren, Christy, Mackenzie, Nicholas and Hayley; and two great-grand-children, Tayah and Emma Grace.

ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. Following cremation, Helen's ashes will be scattered at the family's convenience.
