Derry - Derry - Jeanne W. Owen, 83, of Derry, NH died Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH.
Jeanne was born in Derry, NH on October 29, 1941, a daughter of Hormidas and Juliette (Fontaine) Bourassa. She was a lifelong resident of Derry.
She is survived by her son, James A. Owen and his wife Wendy of Lawrence, MA, her four grandchildren, Benjamin, Marjorie, Jennifer and Dacey, one sister, Claire Karibian and her husband Garo of Salem, NH and several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, James R. Owen, her son, Walter J. Owen and her siblings, Ohmer Bourassa, Theresa Daneau and Louceanne Reed.
There were no calling hours. Following cremation, graveside services were held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry, NH. To send a condolence, please visit www.peabodyfuneralhome.com.
