Derry - Josef Trocha, 90, of Derry, NH, died Monday February 3, 2025 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born on April 9, 1934 in Inlauf, Slovenia, a son of the late Josef and Rosa (Ostermann) Trocha. Josef had been a resident of Derry for the past 43 years, formerly living in Ridgewood, NY. He had been employed at Continental Can in Derry, retiring in 2011. Josef enjoyed hunting, gardening and bird watching. He had been a member of the Halcyon Club in Derry.
He is survived by his wife, Amalia Trocha of Derry; two sons, Siegfried Trocha and his wife Carri of Hooksett, NH, and Joseph M. Trocha and his wife Sheila of Cape Coral, FL; and his granddaughter, Katrina Trocha of Port Charlotte, FL. He was predeceased by his brother, Herrmann Trocha.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 11 a.m. in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
