Kevin J. Malloy Obituary

Londonderry - Our beloved Kevin Malloy, 67, passed away on December 23, 2025 in Londonderry, NH.

Kevin was born on October 12, 1958 in Pittsfield, MA to John and Dolores (Dolly) Malloy. Kevin attended Mount Greylock High School, where he was an accomplished multi-sport athlete and met some of his lifelong friends that he stayed in touch with throughout his life.

Kevin went to Ferum Community College where he played football, before transferring to Boston University. During his college years and after, he worked and lived in Boston, and met the love of his life, Karen Malloy, on Valentine's Day in 1981. During this time, Kevin found his passion for roofing. He founded his successful commercial roofing company, Granite State Construction, which was well known within New England for over 30 years. He then brought his extensive knowledge to Greylock Roofing, where he carried out his career for the last 10 years. Kevin was well-known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to his trade. He was described by his colleagues and peers as a "Roofing Legend" and was a leader, mentor, and friend to so many in the industry.

Kevin and Karen moved to Londonderry, NH in 1987, where they raised their two daughters, Kirsten and Kelcie. Kevin instilled values of dedication, hard work, integrity, and kindness. He never missed a chance to see his daughters' sporting events and show up as their number one fans throughout their lives.

Kevin loved to golf, especially with his daughters and son-in-law, Anthony. Kevin's happy place was Nantucket Island, where he cherished his time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends. He loved to drive around the island and seek out the best fishing spots to surf cast, always landing out at Great Point.

Kevin was a proud and devoted husband, father, and Papa. He dedicated his life to his family and was the glue that held everyone together. After losing his wife, Karen, to lung cancer in 2010, Kevin remained strong, resilient, and determined on behalf of his daughters. He worked so hard to ensure their lives remained as normal as possible and his unwavering dedication to his family is nothing short of admirable.

Kevin's most cherished day of the week was Sunday, where he spent every weekend with Kelcie, Kirsten, Anthony, Sofia, and Callen. Kevin's loss will be felt throughout not only his family, friends, and neighbors, but through the industry he made a name for himself in.

Kevin was the beloved husband of his late wife, Karen Malloy, and was predeceased by his father, John Malloy, and his mother, Dolly Malloy. Kevin leaves behind his daughter Kelcie Malloy-DalPra and son and law, Anthony DalPra, his daughter Kirsten Malloy, and his grandchildren, Sofia and Callen DalPra. Kevin is also survived by his brothers, Michael Malloy and wife, Leffi, Dennis Malloy and wife Leslie, his sister Kathleen Flanders, and his sister-in-law Susan Kirchner. In addition, Kevin leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who he deeply loved and who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
