Kim Marie Lesure Obituary

Derry - Kim Marie Lesure, 65, of Derry, NH, entered eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on March 19, 1960, in Holyoke, MA, to Paul and Helen (Green) Chapdelaine.

Growing up in Londonderry, NH, Kim received her education in the Londonderry school system and attended high school at Pinkerton Academy, where she met Robert Turner. Shortly after their marriage, her son, Jason Robert, was born. In her early years, she spent her time raising Jason while working multiple jobs, including a position at Hadco.

In the early eighties, she met the love of her life, James (Jimmy) Cataldo, and helped operate his typewriter repair business until his tragic passing in 1985, one year after the birth of their daughter, Brandi Marie.

Following the death of her husband, Kim worked at Rockingham VNA & Hospice as a hospice aide and had a natural gift for caring for the terminally ill. While attending an EMT class, she fell for the quick wit and charm of Roy Lesure. They later married and welcomed Kim's youngest child, Amie Elizabeth.

Kim spent the next two decades caring for the terminally ill and elderly while providing for her family. She spent countless hours traveling to and from patients while also shuttling her children to their many activities. She coached cheerleading for the Derry Wolverines for her daughter's team and even hosted a foreign exchange student. Before her diagnosis, Kim worked at Hanover Hill in Manchester as an LNA for nearly 20 years. She touched numerous lives with her heart of gold and would do anything for her patients.

Kim is survived by her children: Jason Turner and his girlfriend, Jamie Swiesz, of Manchester, NH; Brandi (Cataldo) Saunders of Sterling, VA; and Amie (Lesure) Rossi and her husband, Andrew, of Derry, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Matthew, and Charlotte; her brother, Ronald Chapdelaine and his wife, Cindy, of Londonderry, NH; her sister-in-law, Michelle Chapdelaine of Londonderry, NH; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her second husband, James "Jimmy" Cataldo; she was predeceased by her father, Paul Chapdelaine; her mother, Helen (Green) Chapdelaine; her brothers, Keith and Kevin Chapdelaine; and several aunts and uncles.

In celebration of Kim's life, visitation will take place on her birthday, March 19, 2026, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Due to the tremendous care and kindness she received, Kim's family asks that memorial donations be made to the Community Hospice House, c/o Home Health & Hospice, 7 Executive Park Dr, Merrimack, NH 03054, in lieu of flowers.
