Londonderry - Londonderry - Maria A. Wood, 84, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, May 5, 2025 in her home. She was born on June 16,1940 in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late Harold Doerr and Margaret (Carson) Doerr.

She had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 28 years, formerly living in Windham, NH. Maria graduated from St. Mary's High School in Lawrence. She had been employed as a tax examiner for the IRS in Andover, MA.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas Morin and Jeffrey Morin; her daughter, Jennifer Sarcione; her stepchildren, Stewart Wood, Kathleen Howe, and Amy Cooper; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, her brother, John Doerr; her sister, Elsa Traynor; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Wood in 2012, her daughter, Deirdre Morin-Dube in 2008, and her siblings, Alan Doerr and Julie Hilbert.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
