Derry - Derry - Marie I. Martineau, 77, of Derry, NH, died Sunday May 18, 2025, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.

She was born in Lowell, MA on January 15, 1948, a daughter of the late George and Rose (Michaud) Martineau. She had been a resident of Derry since 2000, formerly living in Londonderry since 1961 and Hudson, NH. She had attended Alvirne High School and Pinkerton Academy in Derry. Marie received her nurse's degree and had been a nurses aid. She was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry. Marie loved to play piano and spend time with family.

She is survived by her son, Thomas P. Martineau of Derry; two brothers, Raymond Martineau, and Wilfred Martineau as well as several nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jeanne Truson, Rosalie Lampe, Robert Martineau, and Susan Letourneau.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 27th from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28th at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry.
