LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Michael W. Frechette, 60, of Londonderry, N.H., died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.

Mr. Frechette was born in Lawrence, on Jan. 28, 1948, a son of Isabel (Oertel) Frechette and the late Lucien Frechette. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1984, formerly living in Hudson, N.H.

Mr. Frechette received his Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island. He had been employed for a number of years as a professor at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, retiring in May 2008.

He is survived by his mother, Isabel Frechette of Salem, N.H.; as well as several aunts and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
