Derry - Robert Charles "Bob" White, 89 of Derry, NH, passed away suddenly on Thursday July 2, 2026, at Parkland Medical Center of Derry.

Bob was born November 15, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Francis and Agnes (Patterson) White. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn and was a resident there until relocating to Derry in 1969.

Bob served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Radio Man from 1955 to 1959. Bob spent over 20 years as an Insurance Adjustor with the Hartford Insurance Company. After which he spent another 20 years with Walmart. He enjoyed home life and spending time with his family. Bob enjoyed golf, bowling and crossword puzzles and loved working in his yard.

Members of the family include his wife of 64 years, Margaret "Peg" White, four sons and their wives, Craig (Joy), Robert (Julie), Daniel and James (Sylvie), four grandchildren, Kathryn, Emma, Aidan (Jacqueline) and Caitlin White, one great grandchild, Margot White, and his brother, John White.

After cremation, a memorial visitation was held Monday July 6, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass was held Tuesday July 7, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry and concluded with burial and Military Honors at Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry.
