Derry - Suzanne "Sue" (Merrill) Vose, 77 of Derry, NH, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester NH, after a brief illness.

Sue was born on June 18, 1947, to Catherine (Robichaud) and Clayton Merrill. She was raised in Chisholm and Jay, Maine, where she attended the local schools and graduated from Jay High School. After graduation, Sue attended secretarial school in Portland, Maine. Shortly thereafter, she met and married the love of her life, Paul Vose, on July 4, 1971.

Settling in Derry, NH, together they raised three children: daughter Julie, and sons Peter and Paul. Their home was welcoming to all on Brady Ave and beyond. Their children's many friends have fond memories of times spent laughing around the kitchen table. In addition to raising her children, Sue had a vibrant career in medical and dental administration. In her spare time she loved shopping, going out to dinner with family and friends, and planning events for her grandchildren. After raising their children, Suzanne and Paul were able to purchase a cabin in Maine. They spent many summers on the pond, enjoying friends and family as well as traveling with their children and their families to warm destinations including Hawaii, Aruba, and the Bahamas. She was particularly captivated by a trip she took to England many years ago.

Suzanne is survived by her three children, Julie and her husband, Maxwell Snead of Bow, NH; Paul II and his wife Kristy Vose of Goffstown, NH; and Peter and his wife Julie Vose of East Derry, NH; her five grandchildren, Catherine and Abigail Snead, and Nathan, Evan, and Benjamin Vose; her brothers, Charles Merrill and his wife Brenda, and Dennis Merrill and his wife Judy; several nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Sue was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Paul, and her brother, Kenneth Merrill.

A Period of Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. A lunch will be provided from 12pm-2pm at St. Matthew's Parish. Her Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery in Derry, NH.
